SUMMER KNIGHTS CHESS CAMP [4th - 7th Graders]

Whether your kiddo is a beginner or the next Bobby Fischer, students will learn lots of strategy during this 4-Day Camp.

Get ready for a Queen’s Gambit during this introduction to a classic board game. No experience is necessary for students to join, as these sessions build upon game rules, strategies, and competition etiquette.

From learning the set-up of the chessboard to declaring “checkmate”, tournament champion and teacher, Todd Wolf a.k.a. “That Chess Guy”, has plenty of experience as an educator and avid chess player.


♟️This class runs from 1 PM - 1:45 PM

♟️Parents/Guardians MUST remain inside MMPL for the duration of their child’s class

♟️Students must attend ALL FOUR sessions of scheduled classes.

♟️This class has a 20 student capacity.

♟️OPEN PLAY CHESS: 1:45 PM - 2:15 PM From Monday the 23rd through Thursday the 26th, there will be an open-play opportunity for chess players of all ages/experience levels in the MMPL Community Room
