Make Your Own TikTok Dubai Chocolate Bars and Bonbons

Join us for a chocolate experience where you’ll create your own version of the viral Dubai chocolate bar—but elevated in every way. While TikTok made it trendy, we’re making it extraordinary.

Chocolatier and chocolate educator Ruth Kennison—founder of The Chocolate Project and the Santa Monica Chocolate Society—will guide you through a demonstration on creating the pistachio filling, tempering fine chocolate and painting molds with colored cocoa butter for stunning visual impact. Instead of cheap compound chocolate and shortcuts, we’re using ethically sourced, sustainable ingredients and crafting each Dubai chocolate bar with house-made pistachio paste and butter-drenched kanefeh.

While we wait for the bars to set, Ruth will lead you through a special guided chocolate tasting and you will learn a bit about the history of chocolate and where it comes from.

This is a fun "make-and-take" class: while Ruth demos the techniques, you’ll assemble your own Dubai chocolate bars and Dubai chocolate bonbons to take home. You'll leave with two beautifully molded Dubai chocolate bars and a selection of bonbons, all crafted with care, creativity, and truly fine chocolate.

Important Notes:

Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes.

All levels are welcome, but this class is 16 and up (or 14+, with adult supervision).

Please do not wear perfumes or scented lotions to class.
