"Painting to Get Loose" is a welcoming, energizing art class for anyone looking to ease anxiety, explore their creativity, and embrace a freer, more expressive style of acrylic painting.

Through guided instruction and supportive exploration, you’ll learn to work with vibrant color, dynamic composition, and spontaneous brushwork to create art that feels fresh, personal, and alive. Class Size is Limited – Register Early!

Bill Firestone’s work has been described as vibrant, elastic, and energetic. His style captures both the quiet beauty of rural landscapes and the lively rhythm of rainy-day city streets.

Known for a loose, free quality that balances strong drawing skills with bold brushwork, Bill brings a unique blend of spontaneity and intention to every piece. His recent work often incorporates image transfer and collage, adding rich compositional layers and textural depth. His teaching emphasizes color contrast, composition, and the joy of the “accidental” stroke - inviting students to loosen up and discover their own visual language.
