This summer, follow the Shipmate Stories Trail and step into the world of the 16th-century crew who sailed into the unknown.
From the Gun Deck to the Great Cabin, you’ll meet sailors, captains, and characters who lived extraordinary lives - from Francis Drake to Diego, an African crewman whose story often goes untold. Each trail stop includes vivid signage, fascinating details, and costume displays kindly provided by Shakespeare’s Globe, helping bring these stories to life.
