This year's Vinyl & Label Market will take place in the courtyard of Hostel Celica, a former military prison uniquely transformed into an award-winning hostel at AKC Metelkova.
A selection of records from a variety of genres will be available, including techno, house, electro, EBM, hip hop, dubstep and drum & bass, from record labels, vinyl collectors, DJs and music enthusiasts who will put parts of their vinyl collections on sale.
At 16:00 a round table discussion on music publishing and distribution will take place alongside the vinyl record fair. We will discuss the challenges of running a record label in the era of free streaming and the erosion of financial compensation, music policy, branding, promotion, legal and other pitfalls, and other related topics.
