As part of the HUMELODY EU project, we warmly invite you to a music workshop designed for young migrants.
Join us for a special event where voices from different cultures come together to celebrate human rights through music!
At this uplifting gathering, Guillermo from Argentina and Katarina from Slovenia will introduce you to Cumbia, a vibrant traditional music style from Colombia. You’ll learn the basic rhythms and experience the joy of playing together—how individual percussion patterns, when combined, create something greater than the sum of their parts.
No experience needed—just the willingness to listen, participate, and have fun!
Next, we’ll explore a traditional Slovenian song and reimagine it by replacing parts of the lyrics with human rights we want to see more of in our lives. Through this collective expression, we’ll share powerful stories and messages that remind us of our shared values and dreams.
✨ Whether you’re an experienced musician or simply love to sing, you’re warmly invited to join in! Lyrics will be displayed on screen, and you’ll be guided by supportive facilitators every step of the way.
Come for the music, stay for the connection.
Let’s celebrate human rights, diversity, and solidarity—one song at a time.
🎤 Don’t miss this chance to connect, express, and create harmony together!
