Join author and storyteller Trevor Hutton as he brings his book Florence and the Dragon to life in a series of immersive outdoor sessions designed to spark imagination and curiosity in children and adults alike!
What to Expect:
Follow the story of a young villager as they grow up in a medieval hamlet- discover what life was like, what people ate, who they lived with, and the dangers they faced, from wild predators to… dragons!
Travel from humble farmland to the heart of a grand castle, and explore questions like:
Can dragons be trusted?
Are they protectors, or something to fear?
What would life be like as a prince or princess living in a stately home?
What happens when you venture into the mysterious, magical woods?
With talking trees, imaginary knights, witches, and of course, dragons, each session will blend history with fantasy and leave children to decide the fate of the dragon themselves!
All sessions take place outdoors in the gardens, so bring a blanket and prepare for an hour of magical storytelling in the sunshine!
Included with standard admission | All ages welcome | Ideal for families with children aged 5–12 | Pre-booking is not essential
