The KC Meat Sweats are back at it for our 11th year at the @Great Lenexa BBQ Battle.
Please come join us Friday evening, June 27 at 6:00pm for a fun night of food and drink as we return to @Sar Ko Par Trails Park. We will be in a new spot this year. Come find us at spot 555 at the southeast corner of the park.
We would love to see everyone come out and share in the good times. We plan to offer beef brisket, beef burnt ends, pork ribs, chicken, pulled pork, beans, cheesy corn, and more!
General Admission for the event is $5 per adult. Children are welcome, and all kids 12 and under receive free admission.
Parking will be available on-site for $5 both Friday and Saturday. Part of the parking fee goes to Boy Scout Troop 428. This is their biggest fundraiser of the year, and they would love the support.
Free satellite parking and free shuttle service to the event will aldso be available.
Gates to the event itself open at 4:30 PM, and we will plan to have food ready at our spot at around 6:00.
We are doing our best to accommodate all guests, but please note that everything will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to be sure to get what you want, please plan to arrive early.
If you have any specific food/drink/alcohol requests, please let one of us know ahead of time so we can have it on site for you. No alcohol will be allowed in by guests.
We will be graciously accepting tips/donations to help offset our food costs via cash or Venmo for any who would like to contribute. Please do not feel obligated to do so. We will just be happy to have you there.
