Somatic Sundays at Shambala with Nicola Herd.
A return to you — to nourish, resource, and enliven.
In today’s fast-moving world, we’re constantly pulled in many directions — work, relationships, responsibilities — often leaving us feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply running on empty.
Somatic Sundays offers you the chance to gently press pause, slow down, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive and welcoming space. Whether you're new to this kind of work or familiar with it, these sessions invite you to tune into your body, your breath, and your inner wisdom.
You are welcome to join either session or attend both for a deeper journey. No experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to show up for yourself.
Session 1: Somatic Moving: 4.00-5.30pm
Feel. Move. Listen. Release. Reconnect.
In this somatic movement-based session, you’ll be guided to listen to your body, move with awareness, and explore — not to “get it right,” but to feel free, alive, and at home in your skin.
This is a space where dance and movement become a gateway to inner connection and expression — a place where you can rest, renew, and remember your body’s wisdom. Expect music, flow, stillness, creative expression/integration time, and deep nourishment for your nervous system.. Just you, your breath, your body, and the moment.
Come back to life. Come back to you.
Session 2: Conscious Connected Breathwork: 6.00-7.30pm
A breath-led journey inward
This breathwork session uses the Conscious Connected Breath (CCB) technique to gently guide you into a deeper state of awareness. With music, presence, and a lovingly held space, you’ll be invited to explore what’s ready to emerge — be it release, insight, emotion, or deep rest.
Breath becomes your bridge — helping you clear what’s stuck, nourish what’s tired, and reconnect with your inner clarity.
Whether you're seeking emotional balance, a weekly reset, or simply a deeper sense of self-connection, this practice offers a powerful and tender space for transformation.
⚠️ Please note: CCB is not suitable for certain health conditions.
Conscious Connected Breathwork is not suitable for everyone, although this will be a gentle session please read below for what to consider before booking:

Individuals with a history of cardiovascular problems, such as heart
disease, high blood pressure, or stroke, should exercise caution and consult with a healthcare professional before participating in intense breathwork practices.

Recent Surgeries or Injuries:

Pregnant individuals should approach breathwork practices with caution, especially those involving intense breath patterns or physical movement. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare provider to determine whether breathwork is suitable during pregnancy.
