Get ready, Porty! The countdown is on for Porty Festival, a jam-packed celebration of everything we adore about our seaside community.
Taking place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May 2025, the festival will bring Portobello to life across four vibrant venues – with the Portobello Town Hall as the heart of the action.
Whether you’re a local or visiting for the weekend, Porty Festival promises something for everyone: from food, music, and market stalls to creative workshops, theatre, and even a dog show on the beach.
Four Locations, One Festival
• Portobello Town Hall will be the buzzing Festival Hub, featuring live music, DJ sets, talks, creative workshops, a gin bar, food traders, magicians, disco, yoga sessions, circus performances, and even musical theatre. It’s where the energy begins and flows all weekend long.
• Unity Hair Studio is getting a festival makeover as it transforms into a working salon meets vintage pop-up shop. Come for the blow-dry, stay for the retro finds.
• Dook will be home to a Silver Jewellery Pop Up and Bath Salts Workshop, perfect for those looking for something relaxing, creative, and a little luxurious.
• And of course, our beautiful Portobello Beach is playing host to all things active and outdoors: a Wild Swimming Workshop, Judo Demonstration, Mobile Sauna, and the much-anticipated first-ever Porty’s Dog Show – sure to steal the show (and hearts).
Community at the Core - Portobello is all about community – and Porty Festival is no different. It’s a celebration for the community, by the community. From local artists, performers, and makers, to small businesses, charities, and community groups, this weekend is about supporting what makes Porty so unique.
