Learn a Little Birdsong - Ranger Guided Walk

A walk through different habitats listening to the bird species found in each habitat. We will pass a reservoir, river, woodland areas, moorland and farmland. We will walk quietly listening for bird song along the way. Enjoy the birdsong and learn how to identify which birds you're listening to.

Event Grade: Moderate: sometimes rough and uneven terrain and gradients.

Event Terrain: Some steep ascents, uneven ground and stiles. There may be livestock present and it could be very muddy.

Extra Items: Bring your binoculars for possible bird sightings.

Meeting Point: St Matthews church, Meerbrook Village (Meerbrook church is just up the road west from the Lazy Trout pub in Meerbrook village close to Tittesworth reservoir.)
