Garden TLC: Flourishing Flowers from Summer to Fall

July is a pivotal time in the flower garden—spring blooms have faded, summer annuals are thriving, and there’s still time to plant for late-season color. We’ll cover deadheading, pinching and pruning, planting young perennials, managing weeds, and mulching. Whether you're looking to refresh your garden’s appearance or extend its bloom time into fall, this workshop will provide practical, hands-on skills to keep your flower beds looking their best.  

Tickets are are $10 for members (with member discount code) and $15 for non-members with regular admission. This series is recommended for teens and adults.

Cancellations: If you are unable to attend, please let us know 48 hours in advance of the class start time in order to receive a refund.

Alison Magill is an herbalist, ecologist, gardener and educator who loves to help people take a new look at their gardens through an ecological lens. She holds degrees in Soil Science and Forest Ecology from UNH but has learned the most by observing the natural world. Now she is in her dream job here at Bedrock Gardens serving as the Garden Educator and getting to share her love of plants and nature with all of you!
