Attend our launch party for our 2025 Summer Reading Program! Sundance Kids Farm will be here with their petting zoo (rain or shine). There will be treats and snacks to enjoy and we'll have our sign-up station ready to get you started on your summer reading fun!
The theme for our Summer Reading Program this year is “COLOR OUR WORLD”! Prizes will be awarded to the toddlers, children, teens, and adults that log the most minutes between June 28th and August 16th, 2025.
There are two ways that you can log minutes:
Option 1: Stop by the library to pick up a Summer Reading Program package which includes a reading log. Place one sticker on your reading log for every 20 minutes of reading. A full sheet represents 1000 minutes. If you fill a sheet before the end of the summer, ask us for another one!
(We're requesting this option to be used for the children and toddlers participating this year)
Option 2: Register online with READsquared, an online platform where you can work on different activities, earn badges, and log your reading minutes. Follow this link to begin:

(You did read that correctly, there are FOUR different age categories to earn prizes this year. All participants can create a unique sign in at READsquared and those profiles can be linked.)
