The BEAST is back! FREE Document Shredding events are confirmed for 10am to 2pm on June 21st, August 16th and October 11th at Rim of the World High School front parking lot (thanks to ROWUSD!) Bring old papers, folders, magazines, even books (with the hard covers removed). The best part - no need to remove staples, paper clips or Acco fasteners!
You can watch your material be shredded right in front of you - so no worry about privacy.
What the beast can't accept: any hard plastic (jewel cases, CDs, etc), metal (other than paper clips, staples and fasteners) or cardboard. You can bring your material in cardboard boxes but will have to take them back with you. If you bring everything in a garbage bag, the bag and its contents can all go into the shredder.
There is no limit to the amount you can bring or times you can participate.
Help us remove "interior fuel" from our residences!

This program is available thanks to CAL FIRE's California Climate Investments, a statewide program that puts billions of Cap-and-Trade dollars to work reducing GHG emissions, strengthening the economy, and improving public health and the environment– particularly in disadvantaged communities. The Cap-and-
Trade program also creates a financial incentive for industries to invest in clean technologies and develop innovative ways to reduce pollution. California Climate Investments projects include affordable housing, renewable energy, public transportation, zero-emission vehicles, environmental restoration, more sustainable agriculture, recycling, and much more. At least 35 percent of these investments are located within and benefiting residents of disadvantaged
communities, low-income communities, and low-income households across California. For more information, visit the California Climate Investments website at: www.caclimateinvestments.ca.gov.”
