Song/Craft Sessions is a casual afternoon show hosted by Coraline James featuring thoughtful songwriters.
blue monday is a queer songwriter and singer, raised and based out of Toronto. Creating music that sits in the indie folk realm, blue monday describes her sound as “acoustic electropop” and is inspired by artists like Holly Humberstone, Maggie Rogers, and Robyn. Inspired by the intersection of love and sadness, the agony of being known, and every body of water to ever exist, blue monday’s music explores unrequited love and the fickleness of human memory. Blending stripped back vocals and instrumentals with lyrical intimacy, blue monday creates a haunting soundscape that asks you to wade into the river of time, and let yourself sink into the deep.
Coraline James is an offbeat adult contemporary musician from Kitchener, Ontario whose music sounds like Josh Groban on mushrooms. In August 2023, James unveiled her debut EP, In the River, produced by the JUNO award-winning producer Michael Wojewoda. Her second EP, Brambles, will be released in June 2025 thanks to the support of the Ontario Arts Council and the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund.
