Stewardship Party and Bioblitz: Partying with the Pollinators

The world is better when we have a reciprocal relationship with the land, the people, the plants, and the wildlife. Teaming up with the people of Hudson Valley Bee Habitat, The Bee Conservancy, and Defining Urban Biodiversity, we will start with a Bioblitz - seeking to identify many of the plants and animals of the sanctuary.

Then we will tend to the garden plots and trees that feed our bees, butterflies, birds, and even bats! Come ready to observe, W**d, mulch, and partake of some of the edible/drinkable bounty made possible by the pollinators. Give back and get back, it’s a reciprocity party!

Schedule of Activities:

4-5:00 Bioblitz! Identifying as much of the plants and animals as possible.

5-7:00 Stewardship! Tending to the pollinator sanctuary and the forest sanctuary.

7-7:30 Community! Enjoying the bounty of the land, together.
