Following last years success, Singin’ on the Train returns on Saturday 16 August.
What to expect at Singin’ on the Train: our musical celebration accompanies a busy service of steam and diesel trains operating between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth. Jump on the train and travel to our stations to hear male choirs in full song. You can visit The Engine House at Highley to break your day and sample the finest real-ales in our pubs. - Gentlemen Songsters
- Hadley and District Orpheus
- Birmingham Male Voice Choir
- Carlton Male Voice Choir
- Kidderminster Male Choir
Performances will take place at Kidderminster (10.00am-1.45pm, 3.15pm-4.30pm), The Engine House (11.30am-3.45pm) and Bridgnorth (10.00am, 11.45am, 2.00pm, 3.30pm and 5pm).
Normal fares apply: purchase Freedom of the Line or Short Journey tickets. Available in advance or on the day.
Evening Choir Concert
In addition to the daytime event, we have something very special for Kidderminster Station concourse during the evening.
Sit back and relax under the station’s glass roof as all seven choirs come together for a memorable performance. The choir concert takes place from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, featuring all seven choirs. Hot food and drinks will be available from the award-winning King & Castle on the station.
Tickets for the concert are £10.00pp booked in advance, or £12.00pp on the day (subject to availability).
