Fish and Chips Train

Join us this summer for the classic favourite fish and chips! Teaming up with Kidderminster’s famous Captain Cod’s Fish Bar, we invite you to savour a delicious meal of freshly prepared fish and chips while soaking up picturesque views from the comfort of a heritage train carriage.

Starting your experience at Kidderminster, a member of our team will greet you on the concourse, where you can collect your Fish and Chips before boarding the train into reserved carriages. It’s then time to relax and get ready to enjoy your food while travelling through the Severn Valley countryside.

In need of liquid refreshment? Don’t forget to visit our Travelling Tavern on board, where you can purchase a selection of drinks to enhance your experience.

We hope to offer the dining experience from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth this summer, when the full line re-opens following the recent embankment collapse. If the line isn’t fully reopened, the train will run from Kidderminster to Hampton Loade and return.

Our diesel-powered train departs from Kidderminster Station at 4.15pm.
