WHERE TO WATCH: The majority of the viewing areas will be in the soccer fields close to Dorothy Lane, the large field next to the pond and outside of the snow fence at the top of the hill near Veterans Plaza. We recommend watching from inside the park so that you can hear the soundtrack that goes along with the show. However, we do know that people also watch from the parking lots of nearby businesses.
WHERE TO PARK: Parking within Delco Park is reserved exclusively for accessible parking and is available until 8:45 p.m. or until full. We encourage visitors to park at the Tenneco building on Woodman Drive, just north of Delco Park, and walk over. Additional parking is often found in nearby areas, with many visitors choosing to walk to the park from surrounding streets.
Experience:
• Fantastic Fireworks
• Bounce Houses
• Food Trucks
• Entertainment with Roaming Performers
• A DJ Pumping Music Throughout the Park
WEATHER UPDATES: The Go 4th! event will be held rain or shine. However, if officials decide the weather is unsafe at 10 p.m. for fireworks, they will be canceled. This decision will not be made until close to the 10 p.m. start time. Please check the playkettering.org homepage and our Facebook Page for updates.

When you host the biggest party of the year a lot of people show up! Before you head out to Delco Park, plan your route and where you will park. Even better - walk or ride your bike. No Personal Drones
Go 4th is a no drone zone! Due to safety concerns, personal drones are prohibited from the entire event. You are welcome to bring handheld cameras and phones to capture the magic.
No Sparklers
Please leave your sparklers and personal fireworks at home. Don’t worry, we’ve got your firework needs covered. We have an awesome fireworks display (coordinated with music!) scheduled to begin at 10 p.m.
Recycling
New for 2025: Go 4th is going green! Be on the lookout for special recycling stations to support a cleaner, greener event.
Weather Concerns
Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate, but we don’t let that dampen our spirits. In most cases, Go 4th is held rain or shine. However, if the weather looks questionable, check our Facebook page (search PlayKettering) or our website (www.playkettering.org) for event updates.
First Aid and Lost Children
It gets pretty dark in Delco Park – all the better to view the incredible fireworks show! In order to ensure that families are back together before sundown, the bounce houses and park
playground will close at 9 p.m.
Your safety is our number one concern. Kettering Police and Fire Departments will be on hand to assist with any emergencies during the event. If you need help, please come to the white information tent at the top of the hill.
