🌹✨ Chicano Solidarity: From LA to KC, We Carry Each Other’s Stories ✨🌹
As ICE raids continue to harm our communities, from LA to across the country, we come together to remind one another: our stories protect, inspire, and liberate.
In these times of fear and uncertainty, we gather to hold each other close.
To say you are not alone.
To honor our roots, our voices, and our right to be.
Join us for an evening of community, storytelling, and healing, as we reflect on the impact of recent ICE raids in Los Angeles, and the power of shared stories to protect, inspire, and liberate.
🫶🏽 We will begin with a grounding circle, reflect in silence for those impacted, and hear stories from our host, RosaLinda Martinez Aviles, followed by an open storytelling circle.
🗺️ You'll also be invited to contribute to our Barrio Map, marking your roots and the places that shaped you.
❤️ We’ll close in community, reminding ourselves that we are never alone, in the struggle or in the healing.
🗓️ June 26th | 6:00–7:30 PM
📍 2301 Lexington Avenue, KCMO 64124

All are welcome. Come as you are, with your story, your heart, and your presence.
This is not just an event, it’s a reminder:
Our stories are medicine. Our comunidad is power.
