Main Street Brews & Tunes will host musical guest Jake Dwyer, and Rockin Rivet Pizza will be on site along with local brews from Main Street Cafe, this Sunday, June 22nd.
Based in Jonesborough, Tennessee, Jake Dwyer is the soulful frontman of the Jake Dwyer Band, a dynamic country-folk blues trio that draws deeply from Appalachian roots and vintage blues-rock textures. Known for delivering raw vocals, heartfelt storytelling, and a hypnotic, psychedelic groove, his sound has invited comparisons to artists like Neil Young, Tyler Childers, and The Black Keys, while maintaining its own distinctive character
This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to ensure seating. Food & Brews will start being served at 4 p.m. There will be rotating food trucks and brews on tap each week.
Yoga in the Park takes place during Brews & Tunes at 4 p.m. in Jimmy Neil Smith Park behind the International Storytelling Center. Each class lasts an hour. There is no cost to participate; however, donations are welcome. All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced, and this series will be taught by certified instructors in the area. Participants can bring a yoga mat, towel, or blanket. These classes are weather permitting. Learn more at Jonesborough.com/yoga.
