Jonesborough, TN – This Fourth of July weekend, the Heritage Alliance invites you to step back in time for an Ice Cream Social in the cemetery. Taking place on Saturday, July 5th, this turn-of-the century inspired event allows you to indulge in decadent ice cream and learn about the people and history of Jonesborough in the heart of Tennessee’s oldest town.
From 2:00pm - 4:00pm, while supplies last, the Heritage Alliance staff and volunteers will provide historical interpretation, ice cream, and music! It’s the perfect opportunity to cool off in the shade of the trees and let the family learn more about Jonesborough’s rich history while enjoying a sweet treat!
This event is a fundraiser for the Heritage Alliance and is by donation, while supplies last. Suggested donation of $5/person. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, interact with the volunteers, and explore the cemetery on the hill!

Important Notes: The cemetery is a somewhat rough terrain. Closed-toed shoes are advised. Sidewalk accessible.
