The James Weldon Johnson Young Writers Festival is back — and the Poetry & Monologue Competition is officially open!

🎓 Grades 3–12
💸 Over $6,400 in prizes & scholarships
📝 Submit a poem or monologue — written on the theme “Lift Every Voice” or a subject of your choice
📅 Deadline: June 2, 2025
🎤 Monologue entries include a live performance!
🎨 On-site Book Cover Art Contest, too!

🆓 Registration is FREE
