FossilMania! at Museum of the Earth

Get ready to dig deep into excitement at Fossil Mania at the Museum of the Earth, a thrilling celebration in honor of National Fossil Day on Sunday, October 12.

Join us from 10 am to 1 pm at the Museum of the Earth for hands-on activities. This year, we’re exploring the many kinds of fossils and how they form and also highlighting our new Marvelous Mollusks exhibit.

But that’s not all—this is your chance to take home your very own specimens! We’ll have a large selection of shells, rocks, minerals, and fossils that have been decommissioned from PRI’s research collections, just waiting for you to give them a new home. Don’t forget to bring your boxes so you can carry as many specimens as you can!

All event activities are included with regular admission.
