Cornell Chorus, Glee Club, and Symphony Orchestra Major Works Concert

Join us for an evening of profound and transcendent music, featuring choral and sacred masterworks. The program includes Bach’s uplifting Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, Dvořák’s triumphant Te Deum—featuring soloists Rachel Schutz, soprano, and Jean Bernard Cerin, baritone—Brahms’ lyrical Schicksalslied, and Theofanidis’ Rainbow Body, a work both meditative and exuberant. Performed by the Cornell Glee Club and Chorus, and the Cornell Symphony Orchestra, led by Joe Lerangis and Gabriela Gomez Estevez, this concert explores the spiritual and emotional depth of these major works.
