A Free, In-Person, Parent Support Group for adoptive, foster, or kinship families in Central New York ~ Serving Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Madison and Tompkins counties with a location in Tompkins County!
We’re thrilled to announce the return of our in-person Central New York support groups for adoptive, foster, and kinship caregivers, facilitated by CNY AGAPE and Kinship (KCSP) staff. Each facilitator brings their own lens of lived experience (foster parent, adoptive parent, adult adoptee).
We'll delve into crucial topics such as:
understanding our children’s behaviors
fostering parental resilience
tackling school challenges
addressing social and emotional hurdles
exploring therapeutic versus traditional parenting approaches
We welcome all parents and caregivers seeking a compassionate and understanding community to connect, share, and grow together!
WHEN: Typically, scheduled to meet monthly on the 3rd Saturday from 10 AM to 11:30 AM
