"The Punch Drunk Lover" is the stage name of the solo project of local singer, musician, and actor Kelly Snow, bringing a singer/songwriter feel to some of vour favorite hits. A native and still proud resident of Springfield, VA, Kelly is lead singer, keyboardist, and rhythm guitarist for the DMV-based cover band "The Excellent Drivers," which has worked the local bar, wedding, and party scene for more than 10 years. Kelly attended the University of Virginia, where he was music director of the popular a cappella group "The Hullabahoos." With a comprehensive and eclectic musical background rooted in rock, pop, and musical theater, he has more than 25 years of performing experience, including appearances on NBC's "The Office" and in the 2012 film "Pitch Perfect." He also stays active in the local theater community, having recently starred in productions of "Godspell" and "Jesus Christ Superstar."
Cobbler Mountain~ Home to the "Little Cidery That Could"~ is where the fairies live in big poplar trees, children run barefoot to Thumb Run Creek and stories of the wise Grandfathers and kind Grandmothers are shared around the Grand Fire Circle at the foot of the forest. A legendary dreamer, Grandfather McCarthy, discovered Big Cobbler Mountain in 1959. His love of creatures and exploring has been preserved and passed down to his children and grandchildren. Come hike a wooded trail. Open a bottle of imagination. Sip handcrafted ciders with the makers. Find a little fantasy under the old apple tree.
