Cold Water Dip & Walk in the Peak District
Longing to experience the invigorating joy of cold water swimming but feeling a little hesitant? Or perhaps you love a refreshing dip but crave some friendly company? This welcoming walk and dip event is designed just for you.
Whether you’re completely new to cold water, building your confidence in the water, or simply seeking a supportive group to enjoy nature with, you’ll find a warm embrace here. Our 5km (total) walk will lead us to a beautiful spot for our refreshing dip, breaking the journey perfectly.
You’ll be in safe hands with our experienced and qualified cold water swimming instructor Suzie (Peak Swims), who will be on hand to offer guidance and support every step (and dip!) of the way, as well as guidance and support from our inspireHER walk leader Helen. If you don’t have your own gear, don’t worry – we can provide all the necessary cold water equipment, ensuring you’re comfortable and safe.
Imagine the feeling of the cool water on your skin, surrounded by the beauty of nature, and the camaraderie of supportive women. Afterwards, warm up with a comforting hot drink and share the experience.
To ensure a peaceful and private experience for all participants, the exact location and meeting details will be shared after booking. However, you can expect a scenic spot approximately 50 minutes’ drive from Stockport and very easily accessible by train.
