🔥ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Léo Diniz, originally from Belo Horizonte, has been a ballroom dancer, teacher, and choreographer for over 15 years. He is regarded one of the key references in Forró Roots and regularly organizes courses, dances, and festivals in Belo Horizonte through the Baila Roots project, where he serves as director. Through research and studies in other dances and body experiences, he has broadened his perspective on movement and created a teaching method focused on the body’s structure as a facilitator in learning movement and connecting with others.
Among various projects in Brazil, he has been a guest instructor at the Festival Matrizes/Itaúnas and the Rootstock Brasil Festival. With multiple international tours, he has worked in Switzerland, England, France, Poland, Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy.

The workshops are tailored for all dancers who already dance forró (beginners course at minimum for the open level workshops).
The open level workshops will offer inspiring content for all levels, but it also suitable for people who have no previous experience of the forró roots style.
The intermediate level is tailored to give a challenge for dancers who have some experience in forró roots and have danced forró for some years.
