After 25 years, Avalon is moving back to the mother land. 24 years have been spent DJing, mostly as a resident of Club Anvil, Club Mascara and Body Electric. Too many people and clubs to thank - though I'll try, later on. There will be a handful more gigs after this one this month, but consider this the official farewell party (until I briefly return at the end of November - and surely there will be a few more sporadic comeback tours in the future).
I have to thank you, my friends, friends of friends, acquaintances, strangers and familiar faces, foremost for indulging me all these years, for letting me bring my living room to the dance floor and joining me in a celebration of rhythms and dance. I feel extremely privileged for having come across so many of you who share my acquired taste and the joy of music.
And my heartfelt appreciation to all the people and places who've given me the opportunity to share my music over the years, starting with the inimitable, never-forgotten Brenque, who gave me my first shot at DJing and who's still on my side, always.
Thank you all!
