The last 2.7 miles is well maintained dirt road. not rough at all, only the parking lot is kind of lumpy. Slow and careful on blind corners, surprising bit of traffic up that way.
For anyone who is new to this hiking group is open to men and women (kid-free sorry), but with a twist as this group is a fun one for Bigfoot Believers to have entertaining talks about cryptids, aliens, paranormal, the metaphysical or whatever mysterious oddities keeps our life full of magic. ✨ 👣 🌲😉 Feel free to bring friendly dogs on the hike.
Nothing too serious, just looking to have fun. Just hiking and conversation. I am not planning on tree-knocking and making whooping calls or anything that might embarrass you on public trails. 😆 But if you wanna make friends who might do that with you, this hiking group is a good place to try!
Joining the private Facebook group "Helena Bigfoot Believers Hiking Club" will help you stay updated on future events as well! 😊 Lots of short notice bonus hikes with good weather. We also host a cryptid themed book club in the worst of winter weather and a monthly card and board games at local cafes/breweries.
Fun Fact: The BFRO online database shows Lewis and Clark County has the highest amount of reported Bigfoot sightings in Montana!
