Virginia Horse & Wine Country Ride

The meetup for the ride will be at Tony’s Pizza in Haymarket. The ride will take us through horse and wine country of Virginia. We will ride north towards Aldie along Mountain Rd. which runs along the base of Bull Run Mountain. Once in Aldie we will head west on Route 50. We will ride through Middleburg and ride past the famous Salamander Resort owned by Founder of BET Sheila Johnson. From there we run North past the world renowned Foxcroft School to St. Louis Rd. Head South on St. Louis Rd. Through St. Louis (Virginia that is) all the way back to Route 50 which takes us back into Middleburg. There we will take a break in downtown Middleburg, take a group photo and maybe get a cup of coffee at Cuppa Giddy Up. Saddle back up and head South on the Plains Rd. towards the Plains. Once in the plains head East on Hopewell Rd. all the way back to Rout 15 and back to Tony’s for lunch. They have a great outdoor seating area.
It is a relaxing ride with speeds mostly between 40-45mph riding past Beautiful Equestrian estates, vineyards, rolling hills, twisting turns, and those amazing, stacked stone walls.

This is a 150cc and above ride.
