TRAIL BLAZERS #1 - Backpacking, Maps, Safety & First-Aid

For kids age 6-11, 9a-3p, Wed-Fri. $150/session
Backpacking 101 – Learn how to pack smart, prep a daypack, and choose trail essentials. Practice “Leave No Trace,” trail etiquette, and enjoy a solo hike with a personalized walking stick.
Map & Navigation – Explore map basics, compass skills, and trail markers. Create and follow your own map. Includes a navigation scavenger hunt.
Safety & First Aid – Learn to treat common outdoor injuries, build a mini first-aid kit, and practice rescue scenarios and lost-person strategies.
Excursions – Offsite adventures to Hawk Mountain, Twin Bridges Preserve, Mt. Tir’em, and more.

Transportation provided via Miss Maple's 12-passenger van with a certified driver.
