Rockhounding & Geology – Explore Maine’s bedrock map and learn to identify the three rock types. Discover how rocks and minerals are used, and create something from your finds. Practice rockhounding with real tools at quarries or old mining sites. Learn the basics of geocaching and search for hidden caches in the area.
Excursions - Noyes Mt. - Greenwood, ME. Visit Bethel Gem Museum, Dig Maine Gems

Transportation provided via Miss Maple's 12-passenger van with a certified driver.
