Quill Work Heritage Day: Live Demonstrations & Ask the Experts

Quill artist Yvonne Walker Keshick, assisted by cultural researcher Heather Howard, will be on-site to share their expertise and passion for quill work.

Throughout the day, Yvonne will demonstrate traditional quill work techniques, offering visitors a rare opportunity to watch this timeless craft come to life.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own quill boxes to “Ask the Experts.” Yvonne and Heather will answer questions such as:

• Who might have created this piece?
• Can this artwork be repaired or restored?
• How does it connect to the broader history of quill artistry?

No registration is needed for this drop-in event.

This unique opportunity is part of the M-119 Art Trail celebration, bringing together artists and cultural experiences along the iconic Tunnel of Trees.
