ADRA is the experimental musical moniker of local self-taught musician and guitarist, Andy Abbott. In his past work with noise rock duo That Fucking Tank (and their current reiteration as Lands and Body) Andy has been a key figure in the international DIY music scene. He has released records on independent record labels and toured across the UK, Europe and Asia in spaces ranging from squats and art spaces to large-capacity venues including Alexandra Palace in London, and Leeds and Reading festivals.
His solo music often centres on instrumental compositions for 8-string baritone acoustic guitar yet with ADRA he explores a more open ended approach to music making utilising steel pan drums, mbira, cigar box guitar and a home-made music board to create music that is warm and generous yet rooted in experimental traditions.

"A meandering adventure in minimalism" - Dirty Sunbeams
