A short campaign for beginners to learn to play Dungeons and Dragons. 5 Sessions in July, one every Wednesday in July from 1PM to 4PM.
Player Fee: $10 per session. Players can purchase a campaign pass for $40 that covers all 5 sessions. Members will get $5 back in store credit for each session fee paid, or $15 back for a paid campaign pass.
Drinks & snacks are on the house for our players during each session.
First session is July 2...
We’ll be following core 2024 5E rules. Player’s Handbook species and characters only. Players do not need to have or bring or know anything (although, we do recommend wearing clothes).
Minimum of 4 players need to sign up to start the campaign. 6 players maximum.
SETTING: World of Greyhawk. In the border areas of the Gran March and Keoland. The campaign will include a balance of the 3 pillars of Role Playing Games: social interaction, exploring/puzzle solving, and of course combat. In addition to learning to play you’ll go on 3 adventures, increasing in scale and difficulty as you learn more of the game. These adventures include dealing with a goblin menace, exploring a Haunted Mansion, and rooting out the source of mysterious disappearances.
WEEK ONE
July 2: Session 0. Learn to make and equip characters and develop character backgrounds. Discuss game mechanics and the pillars of playing the game. We’ll also cover different ways to play and campaign styles. And then an opportunity to step into adventuring. A simple and short quest. Just recently some goblins have started harassing locals near town. The goblins have been stealing from farmers. They seem to be fond of chickens and eggs as that is what they steal most often. But worse, unless you are a chicken, they attack lone travelers and those travelling in small groups. Find their lair and make the farmlands safe for chickens and travelers again.
