Summer Thing: A Poetry Picnic
Come join us to celebrate nature, each other, and ourselves this Summer Solstice! Gear up for a delightful afternoon of poetry and picnicking at The Bookman! We'll meet up at 715 Washington in Grand Haven to mingle & enjoy a short workshop on writing poetry. Then we'll walk over to Central Park for some quiet reflection time: feel free to journal, write or read, enjoy some sunshine (we hope), take a stab at crafting your own poem... just be still, be engaged, be aware of the beauty of summer. Finally, return to The Bookman to enjoy some good company, picnic food (provided), and shared experiences.
This event is the perfect way to spend a summer day with fellow poetry lovers. See you there!
