Mulgrave Shire Historical Society Annual Photo Competition

All entries must be received by 25 July 2025

posted to: Mulgrave Shire Historical Society, P O Box 566, Gordonvale 4865

or,

delivered to the Mulgrave History Museum at 60 Gordon Street, Gordonvale (opposite the Mill)

Each entry must be accompanied by an official entry form, completed, and signed. Entry forms can be collected in person from the Mulgrave History Museum or found on our website https://mulgraveshirehistoricalsociety.weebly.com/photographic-competition.html

Subject Categories

- Colour or Monochrome – Machinery used in the Sugar Industry
– Colour or Monochrome– People involved in the Sugar Industry

(Photographs to be from within the former Mulgrave Shire.)

Photographs: Are to be mounted on heavy cardboard or foam core board. Maximum overall size of mounting 29.5cm X 21cm (A4 size).

Photographs must be picked up from the museum by a nominated person any time after 7th August. Monies owed will be collected at a mutually convenient time.

By signing the entry form entrants agree to The Mulgrave Shire Historical Society the use of a copy of their photograph/s for their collection.

The judge’s decision is final.

First Prize $50 Second Prize $30 Third Prize $20 (in each section)

A popular choice prize will also be given.
