"The Crowd You're In With"

It's a 4th of July backyard barbecue on the back porch of a Chicago two flat. Three couples explore the mysteries of life changing decisions, their need to procreate, free will and of course, some sangria. Friendships are tested once folks let their guard down and their true feelings and desires are revealed.

That's the what you'll see when "The Crowd You're in With" by Rebecca Gilman opens May 23 at Village Theatre Guild.

The production is directed by Lynn Walsh and produced by Maureen Komperda. The cast features Joseph Canna, Stevie Koch, Rich Kropp, Tony Lage, Jackie Meara, Jessica Scobey, and John Vinopal.

"The Crowd You're in With" runs for 12 performances until June 14.
