Frederick Pride lights up Carroll Creek on Saturday, June 28 with drag shows, DJ’s, food trucks, family-friendly fun, and more—marking the festival’s 12th fantastic year.

When the last confetti cannon pops, keep the celebration rolling just a few blocks away at Matt & Jake’s Post-Pride Grill & Chill Potluck & After-Party. A relaxed backyard wind-down that’s all about good food, good company, and good vibes—no awkward subtext required.

What to Expect

• Crowd-pleasing cookout
  Burgers, hotdogs, and fried chicken headline the buffet (veggie options, too). We hosted 100+ guests last year and never ran out, so come hungry!
• Potluck power
  Love to share a signature dish? Message us early so we can plan the spread.
• Drinks for every palate
  Coolers packed with canned cocktails, a DIY liquor bar, plus sodas, mocktails, and plenty of bottled water. Hydration ≠ complication.
• Laid-back fun
  DJ curated playlist, cornhole, giant Jenga, and whatever other yard games we impulse-buy before the 28th
• All are welcome
  Always family-friendly, before sun-down.

Logistics

• Time: 5 PM – late (swing by straight from Pride or freshen up first)
• Parking: Plenty of street parking.
• RSVP & potluck info: Reply in the event page or DM Matt/Jake.
• Weather: Will not stop us! Our backyard is heavily shaded. We are prepared with large fans to move air, and we can quickly cover the deck if it rains suddenly.

Bring your Pride , come hungry and thirsty, and maybe bring a lawn chair. Let’s cap an amazing day with food, laughter, and friends in Matt & Jake’s back yard!
