All Aboard for History!
Join us for an engaging presentation by the Livingston Centre Historical Society's own David Thompson, "The Train Guy," as he explores how the railroad shaped the expansion of our nation—especially right here in Fowlerville! From government grants and early railroad bankruptcies to the rise of the Pere Marquette Railroad, David will trace the powerful impact of trains on freight, people, and wartime efforts. Learn about the legendary Engine 1225 (yes, that Polar Express engine!) and enjoy a live model train demonstration. A must-see for history buffs and train lovers alike!
