Parks and Rec is excited to announce Pickleball 101!
This 2 hour program is designed to get you playing comfortably on the 2.5 (and greater) courts. You will learn the rules, score keeping, dinking, and other basic play. Each day will include group instruction and practicing specific skillsets through regular play.

Instructor: Jeff Ensinger
Jeff Ensinger has been playing Pickleball since January 2021. You can often see him playing at Jack Peeples Park multiple times a week against players of various skill levels. Jeff hails from Peoria, IL, where he taught the Pickleball 101-Learn How To Play class to many people. Through this class, students learned how to play Pickleball well enough to compete with other beginners and get them on the courts. He enjoys passing on the knowledge and skills he has garnered from playing the game and loves working with new players because it’s fun to watch them improve using the skills being taught.
*All attendees must also be part of the Babcock Parks and Rec program. The affordable yearly membership will also give you access to a wide variety of future classes and events*
