Puppy Fun Class 2 (suitable for dogs for younger than 8 months old)
6-week class- costs $ 150
This class is suitable for puppies that have completed our puppy FUN class or a puppy class elsewhere and are not old or mature enough yet to be enrolled in our Household Obedience 1 class.
This class will be held @ the Doghouse in Fairview at our indoor facility.
We allow a maximum of 6 dogs to enter into this class.
this class teaches:
- Attention (watch)
- Sit
- Stand
- Stay/Wait with release cue
- Down
- Flat/Side
- Place
- Back up
- Leave it and drop it
- Walking without pulling on leash
- Check teeth
- Coming when called (recall)
- Basic manners
- Toy play & games
- introduction to new objects and situations, obstacle course, suitable for very young dogs
In this class, we will be adding more distractions to the training sessions, and we will continue with the impulse control training.
We will train household situations like brushing, checking teeth, nail trimming and being handled in general.
You will be able to get information on all your puppy-raising questions including house-training, chewing, jumping and other issues you might encounter.
