Parkinson’s Boot Camp — 8-Week Session

Allstar Therapies is excited to offer an evidence-based exercise program designed specifically for individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease and Parkinsonism in Westmoreland County and surrounding areas.
This 8-week group class focuses on improving independence, quality of life, strength, balance, and cognition through a combination of:
• Clinical Boxing
• Functional Balance Training
• Allstar Cardio Drumming
• Resistance & Endurance Training
• PWR! (Parkinson Wellness Recovery) Moves
• Dual Task and Cognition Challenges
• Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Training
Details:
Dates: Wednesdays at 6:00 PM, from May 7 – June 25
Location: William Penn Care Center (enter through the lower, back entrance)
2020 Ader Road, Jeannette, PA 15644
Cost: $80 total ($10/class – must pay for entire session)
Instructor: Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or a trained Personal Trainer
Who Can Join: Individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease or Parkinsonism (caregivers/spouses are encouraged to attend too!)
