IMPROVerbs: Creativity from the Created
A CPT Improv Show
The show will be a collection of impromptu skits/games based on audience prompts, pop culture, and biblical themes/stories. Style will be akin to Whose Line Is It Anyway? and other similar improv shows.
Rehearsals will include reviewing basic improv concepts and rehearsing the types of skits/games we will perform for the show. These will be explored all while improving teamwork and learning to play off and encouraging each other's talents.

AUDITION TIMES:
Thu 6/12 from : 6 - 8 pm
Fri 6/13 from : 6 - 8 pm
Sun 6/15 : 1 - 3 pm
AUDITION PREPARATION:
- Auditions are open to ages 10+
- All experience levels welcome
- Applicants must be willing to make fools of themselves in the interest of humor
- No appointment necessary, however we are asking applicants to complete an audition form, either in advance or on the day of the audition. Link is attached to ticket URL on Facebook event.
REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES:
Rehearsals will be Tue & Thu 6:30-8:30PM weekly, starting 6/17
Tech Week will be M-F 8/4-8, 6-10PM
Show Dates:
Saturday 8/9 - 7:30 - 9:30 pm
Sunday 8/10 - 2:30 - 4:30 pm
Saturday 8/16 - 7:30 - 9:30 pm
Sunday 8/17 - 2:30 - 4:30 pm
BACKGROUND CHECKS:
In the interest of keeping all our kids safe, we will be requesting background checks from everyone 18+ joining the cast or technical crew who will have regular interaction with kids [backstage, mics, etc.]. A valid email address will be collected during auditions, and you will receive an email from CLC’s Church Office with a link to “Ministry Opportunities”. Cast members will be responsible for the cost - approx. $25. All background checks must be completed BEFORE THE FIRST REHEARSAL.
