A cool blast from the prehistoric past!
Tweens ages 11-14 are invited to mix, shake and swirl their way into homemade ice cream made completely from scratch on Wednesday, June 18th from 6PM – 8PM at the Elgin Recreation Center. Using basic ingredients and a little chemistry magic, participants will learn how salt and ice work together to transform a creamy liquid into a perfectly chilled dessert – all inside a plastic bag! Once your mixture reaches the ideal consistency, customize it with your favorite toppings. Be ready to shake things up and make new friends while creating a delicious treat.

All supplies will be provided, pre-register at the Elgin Recreation Center or online at https://secure.rec1.com/TX/elgin-tx/catalog.
