About
Join Andy (certified meditation teacher), for a guided meditation in the protective cove of Scotchman's Creek or the Bohemia River on a calm evening. Our event starts with an Intro to SUP lesson on land. Your instructor will then help you launch as we head out for a mindful 10 min. paddle…Mindful Paddle boarding focuses on the present moment by paying attention to the physical sensations or paddling, the sound of the water, and the feeling of the board beneath you. Once we arrive in our calm cove, we'll use an anchor to find stillness. You'll then be guided through a seated floating meditation on your SUP. We'll incorporate deep, slow breaths to calm the mind and body, promoting a meditative state. Actively observing and appreciating our surroundings, including the sights, sounds, and smells of our environment.
Options to be guided back to shore after our meditation, or head out to the river with a qualified instructor to watch the sunset.
*Beginners Welcome!
*Pre-Registration is REQUIRED. Online registration closes 6 hours before class.
*All Participants MUST Be Able To Swim
*If you are bringing your own equipment you are required by law to also bring your own USCG Approved Lifejacket, Safety whistle, and SUP Leash.
*Please arrive 20 minutes before class at the location below…
