Join us for The Remembering, a powerful Juneteenth celebration honoring Black legacy, cultural pride, and community healing in the historic Hayti neighborhood of Durham, NC.

As part of the DURM Juneteenth Collaborative’s citywide celebration, this event brings together live music, visual and performance art, wellness offerings, a vibrant community market, and food truck fare—all centered on the deep roots of Hayti’s cultural contributions and the stories of its people.

Once the thriving epicenter of Black wealth, education, and cultural power in Durham, Hayti is more than a location—it’s a living legacy. “The Remembering” invites us to uplift that legacy, reclaim space, and reimagine futures through joy, art, and collective memory.
