Mau Rākau with Jade Morgan

Are you up for a fun challenge?

Come along to this mau rākau workshop for an introduction to traditional Māori martial arts.

Under the guidance of expert Jade Morgan, you'll play games aimed at enhancing reflexes and hand-eye coordination, and take part in some appropriately designed low-impact physical conditioning activities—all whilst having a whole lot of fun!

Jade Morgan is a Senior Lecturer at Otago Polytechnic and has a lifelong passion for sharing knowledge of Te Ao Māori and mau rākau with anyone who wants to learn.
